What are the benefits of using the Sierra Rewards app?

Does the Sierra Rewards app work at all Sierra stores?

Almost all of them, yes! You can check whether your favourite Sierra store is supported by the app menu and tapping on ‘Find a Sierra Café nearby’. We’re constantly working to make our stores a better destination for you, so check back regularly for updates!

How do I scan my Sierra Rewards app at the till?

Simply tap the ‘Pay & Earn’ button on the home screen, then choose which way you’d like to pay. Tell the cashier you’re scanning your mobile, then present the QR code to the QR scanner at the till. All the smart stuff happens behind the scenes, and you’ll get a transaction summary direct to your mobile. If you’ve chosen ‘Just earn rewards’, you’ll need to complete payment for the transaction like you normally would, with cash or a bank card.

 

Can I pay using the Sierra Rewards app?

Yes! Just click the ‘Pay & Earn’ button on the home screen, then choose ‘Pay with a linked card’. If you don’t already have a Visa or Mastercard loaded, you’ll be prompted to enter the details. Once you’ve scanned the QR code at the till, rewards will be earned, payment will be made, and any eligible offers will be automatically redeemed. We use secure card tokenization provided by Datacom, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payments service provider, so your payment information is safe.

I want to gift to a friend Sierra Dollars, but they don’t have the app, will this work?

Yes! If the recipient of a gift doesn’t have the Sierra Rewards app, they’ll receive the gift as an SMS with a note telling them who sent it, and instructions on how to redeem. If they already have the Sierra Rewards app, their gift will arrive straight into the app.

My app isn’t working correctly, what might be wrong?

The Sierra Rewards app needs a working internet connection to function correctly, so the first thing to check is that your smartphone can access the internet (either via a Wi-Fi connection or Mobile Data). If it’s still not working, you can let us know by sending feedback from the menu at ‘Help’ >> ‘Contact us’.

The store finder isn’t showing Sierra stores near me, what might be wrong?

The store finder needs to know your current location in order to show you the nearest Sierra locations. Check that the Sierra Rewards app has permissions to access your location in the Settings app on your mobile device. If it’s still not working, you can let us know by sending feedback from the menu at ‘Help’ >> ‘Contact us’
